Spring 2025 Retreat
March 16th to April 13th
Tulum, Mexico
The Spring Retreat will be held in Tulum, Mexico, conveniently located a 2 hour taxi or bus ride from Cancun International Airport. There is also a Tulum Airport but it is more pricey. From Europe, check out TUI.co.uk for amazing flights from London and sometimes Amsterdam.
Our retreat will take place in the Tulum Centro, near the Jaguar National Park and a few minute bike ride from the beach. The venue is the old Selina Resort, which is being taken over by the Holiday inn company.
Tulum itself is a magical destination, rich with sacred Mayan culture. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking cenotes (underground rivers), ancient temple ruins, pristine beaches, and charming shops. These elements will be interwoven into our retreat, making it a transformative and unforgettable experience.
We are thrilled to welcome you to this incredible setting and hope you’ll fall in love with Tulum just as we have!

Accommodation Booking & Food Form
Please fill in the following form to book your room, and add your payment options and dietary requirements.
Details
please read everything carefully
1) Refund policy - Please see our other page for current refund policy for course fees. For your accommodation and food, the resort can ONLY offer credit if Mexico closes its borders and/or it becomes impossible to fly here for the training due to the pandemic or other natural/national disaster. The resort will also offer a refund in such a case, and we both require evidence that you had to cancel for covid reasons if that is the case. This does not include failing to check entry requirements before you travel. The resort have agreed to allow you to transfer your payment over to another name if you find a woman to replace you who also passes her interview with the facilitators.
2) Payments - For accommodation you are asked to pay the balance in full within one month before we arrive onsite. If you need to make payment arrangements different than this, you will need to contact the resort directly to discuss this. You will book the room with us here on this page, but then pay directly to the resort. We do not profit from your stay at the resort. You payments and arrangements are between you and the resort.
3) PLEASE NOTE: Current Health Protocols - as we meet as a group, we will be taking safety measures to ensure everyone is safe to gather. Thus we request that you take precautionary measures for at least 5 days before the training...this means no festivals, parties, ecstatic dance, kirtan, new lovers (!) or any other extra risk. It is vital that you take responsibility for your health and do all that you can not to bring any infectious illness into the retreat.
If test positive for Covid, you will not be allowed to attend in person and you will have to pay for a room on your own for your quarantine period if you are at KC Coba. You will not be able to join the retreat when you recover, and we cannot refund once the course begins. So please take responsibility to keep yourself out of risk of infection.
4) Exposure - during the four weeks we will ask you to take care of your exposure to anyone outside of the resort. Please avoid being intimate or close with anyone who is unwell or has symptoms.
5) Transportation - The transportation fees are not covered within the price packages. We encourage you to join together to share rides and thus to share the costs. We will help organize this in our Facebook group.
6) Travel and Health insurance - Tao Tantric Arts requires ALL of our participants to have Traveler's Insurance for all of our trainings. There are a few options to choose from. They range from approximately $200-300 for 90 days. The least expensive option is Trawick International. https://www.trawickinternational.com
7) Arrival Requirements - Please check updated info of the country you fly into and all countries you travel through (including stopovers in USA) for vaccine requirements, covid tests, forms to fill in prior to flying etc. As far as we know, these are mostly being dropped, but it is always important to check.
8) Airport - There are airports in Cancun and now a new one in Tulum. The biggest Mexican airport to Tulum is located in Cancun, less than 2 hours away. Many flights are much less expensive to Cancun, however, there are some places in the world with direct flights to Tulum! Either way, we have utilized a reliable bus company as well as identified taxi drivers we feel safe referring you to on the way from the airport into Tulum.
9) Arrival & Departure Times - Opening ceremony will be on Sunday at 4 or 5pm. It is NECESSARY for you to arrive at the resort between 12-3pm on the first Sunday not before or after. This is mandatory, no exceptions, except infectious diseases. Our organizational team needs time to set up prior to your arrival and then we all need to begin building cohesion from the start. Please arrive in plenty of time. We recommend at least one night prior, but three is better to be rested and ready.
Departure - On the last day we have a closing circle 8am, breakfast at 9am and then farewells. Please plan to leave at 11am. Most women plan an extra week to spend with each other after the retreat. We recommend staying at Holistika Resort for this, as there is a yoga hall to use for practice.
