Details
1) Refund policy - Please see our other page for current refund policy. And we can ONLY offer credit if Costa Rica closes its borders and/or it becomes impossible to fly here for the training due to the pandemic. The resort will also offer refund in such a case, and we both require evidence that you had to cancel for Covid reasons.
2) Payments - For accommodation you are asked to pay in full by April 1, 2022. You will book the room with us here on this page, but then pay directly to the resort. Marie will email you the payment links once your choice of room is confirmed.
3) PLEASE NOTE: NEW Quarantine & Covid Protocols - as we meet as a group, we will be taking safety measures to ensure everyone is safe to gather. Thus we request that you choose between taking a PCR/rapid test once you arrive in Costa Rica. In addition, please take 14 days of risk-free living at home (or wherever you are) before you depart. Then please try to arrive at least 5 days early and do a self-quarantine~ isolate yourself at a resort, ensuring minimal exposure to others. We recommend BraveEarth retreat in the jungle 2.5 hours from San Jose Airport. In San Jose there are many hotels to choose from. Please avoid staying long in San Jose city, as cities are a bigger risk zone than nature areas, and way less relaxing!
We will conduct a ceremonial antigen test for you upon your arrival. Bring a test kit with you if possible. If not, we will charge you a small fee for the test. If you have any cold or a cough or test positive for Covid, you will not be allowed to attend and will issue you a refund. We hope this doesn't happen but we simple can't risk it for the safe and loving bubble energy that we co-create for our 5 weeks together.
4) Exposure - during the five weeks we will ask you to minimize exposure to anyone outside of the resort. You can go as a group on excursions, but please avoid close contact with people from outside our "bubble". We will have just a delicious bubble of sisters that you will not be needing anything else anyway! But please do not arrange for meet-ups during the retreat. If you have a partner in the country or some such thing, then speak to us as we would need to arrange a protocol for him/her before you meet them. We will meet with the men's group at Finca Luna & Brave Earth at the end of our 5 weeks together. They will also all be tested and have been together for 7 days.
5) Transportation - The transportation fees are not covered within the price packages. The resort will do their best to join ladies together to share rides and thus to share the costs. We will help organize this in our Facebook group.
6) Covid health insurance - The Costa Rican gov't now requires all unvaccinated foreigners coming into the country to have a minimum of a certain health coverage in case of Covid. However, Tao Tantric Arts requires ALL of our participants to have Traveler's Insurance for all of our trainings. There are a few options to choose from. They range from approximately $200-300 for 90 days. There are 3 listed on the Health Pass site listed below. The least expensive option is Trawick International.
7) Health Pass - Each traveler coming into CR now has to fill out a health pass online within 48 hours of arriving into the country. You must have purchased your insurance before filling this out and provide your valid insurance code in order for it to be completed. Here is the link: https://salud.go.cr/step1. You can let them know the location of the resort we will be holding the training at.
8) Airport - Please plan to fly into SJO (San Jose, CR) airport
9) Arrival & Departure Times - Opening ceremony will be on Sunday at 5pm. It is NECESSARY for you to arrive between 2-4pm on Sunday- not before or after. This is mandatory, no exceptions. Our organizational team needs time to set up prior to your arrival and then we all need to begin building cohesion from the start.
Departure - This Spring we will complete at Finca Luna Nueva on Tuesday, May 17th just after brunch around 11am or Noon. We recommend staying for at least one week post-training to support your personal integration. Many women choose to do this and find locations in Costa Rica to travel together afterward. This is optional and not organized as a part of the training.
